By Train; Ledbury Railway Station is about five miles.

By Air; Birmingham International (BHX)  is the nearest airport, about 50 miles or 1 1/2 hours drive away; follow directions in 3 below.

By Car;

1. From motorway network and the south: Exit M50 Junction 2. Follow A417 to Ledbury. Follow A438 Hereford signs to the Trumpet crossroads (traffic lights). Turn right on the A417 Leominster road, through Ashperton and turn right at Blacklands Garage, signposted Canon Frome.

2. From the A417 (A49 Leominster, A4103 Hereford, the north and west)  Drive south from Newtown Cross (traffic lights), through Stretton Grandison and turn left by Blacklands Garage signposted Canon Frome.

3. From the east, M5,Worcester, motorway network, BHX and the north and east. Exit M5 Junction 7, follow A4103 towards Hereford. At Newtown Cross (traffic lights) turn left on A417 towards Gloucester, through Stretton Grandison and turn left by Blacklands Garage sign posted Canon Frome.

Then past the Canon Frome House gates, past a new housing estate on the left and, immediately after Rochester House on the right and an avenue of warning bollards, turn right onto the C road which leads you to the entrance of Childer Wood on the left after about one mile. Park by the gates carved with the name of the wood and walk in.
